he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;I used to order every day, every second day, but the last two, three weeks, no.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Is bird flu a threat to WA?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Western Australia reported the <a class=\"Link_link__5eL5m ScreenReaderOnly_srLinkHint__OysWz Link_showVisited__C1Fea Link_showFocus__ALyv2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.abc.net.au\/news\/2026-06-20\/deadly-h5-bird-flu-variant-detected-in-australia-for-first-time\/105318980\" data-component=\"Link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">first confirmed Australian cases of the deadly H5N1 bird flu strain<\/a> detected in a migratory seabird in June.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">On Sunday, WA Deputy Premier Rita Saffioti, said it had been over a month since bird flu was detected in the state.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;We&#8217;ve been working closely with wildlife rescue organisations, supporting them to be at the front line helping Western Australians detect and report,&#8221;
