A large Costco warehouse and service station is coming to Brisbane Airport, with the major retail development planned to form part of a new mixed-use precinct directly opposite Brisbane Airport\u2019s International Terminal.<\/p>\n

Brisbane Airport has secured Brisbane\u2019s first Costco warehouse, with the retailer set to occupy a 6.7-hectare site within a much larger 51-hectare development area. The Costco warehouse is expected to open in late 2029.\u00a0The project represents an investment of more than $145 million by Costco and will be the company\u2019s first warehouse within Brisbane City and its fourth location in Queensland.<\/p>\n

The Costco development forms part of a significantly larger 51-hectare site being developed by Brisbane Airport. The broader precinct is intended to accommodate additional businesses and uses, with Brisbane Airport stating that Costco is the first of several announcements expected for the new destination. The area forms part of the Airport Central Precinct under the newly approved Brisbane Airport 2026 Master Plan<\/a>, approved by Catherine King, Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government on 15 June 2026.<\/p>\n
