Detectives have seized $1.5 million worth of drugs and two men have been charged after properties were searched Sydney\u2019s west.<\/p>\n
State Crime Command\u2019s Taskforce Falcon launched Strike Force Ledoc in June to probe the alleged commercial supply of illegal drugs by an organised crime network.<\/p>\n
Strike force detectives, with help from the Raptor Squad, then carried out search warrants in Edmondson Park and Old Guildford about 1.10pm on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Officers seized 1.4kg of cocaine, 1.1kg of ketamine, 780g of MDMA, 3.5kg of cannabis and about 30kg of THC gummies, along with a knife.<\/p>\n
The drugs had a total estimated potential street value of $1.5 million, detectives said.<\/p>\n
Police arrested two men, aged 26 and 40, who were taken to Cabramatta Police Station.<\/p>\n
The 26-year-old has been charged with 18 alleged offences, including supply of an unregistered firearm (pistol) and a raft of drug-related charges.<\/p>\n
He also faces charges of failing to comply with a digital evidence access order, organising, conducting or assisting drug premises, and possessing or attempting to possess a prescribed restricted substance.<\/p>\n
The 40-year-old has been charged with 17 alleged offences, including multiple drug-related offences, possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit, knowingly dealing with proceeds of crime, and possessing or attempting to possess a prescribed restricted substance.<\/p>\n
He has also been charged with failing to comply with a digital evidence access order and organising, conducting or assisting drug premises.<\/p>\n
