A man has been charged with attempted murder after another man was discovered with gunshot wounds on a residential Brisbane street.<\/p>\n
Police had been called to Centre Street, Aspley, around 10.50pm on Tuesday following an alleged shooting.<\/p>\n
Officers located a 24-year-old Aspley man with two gunshot wounds, police said.<\/p>\n
The man was rushed to hospital in a serious condition.<\/p>\n
Following inquiries, Carseldine Criminal Investigation Branch detectives carried out a search warrant at a home on Richards Road, Narangba, around 2.32pm on Friday.<\/p>\n
Detectives arrested a 33-year-old Narangba man at the property.<\/p>\n
He has been charged with eight alleged offences, including attempted murder and possessing restricted items and obstruct police.<\/p>\n
The man also faces charges of contravening order about information necessary to access information stored electronically and possessing dangerous drugs.<\/p>\n
He is expected to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.<\/p>\n
