{"id":84499,"date":"2026-09-01T01:43:32","date_gmt":"2026-09-01T01:43:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/84499\/"},"modified":"2026-09-01T01:43:32","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T01:43:32","slug":"major-lazer-to-return-to-australia-for-new-years-at-the-bowl-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/84499\/","title":{"rendered":"Major Lazer to Return to Australia for New Year&#8217;s at the Bowl 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Major Lazer will headline the return of New Year\u2019s at the Bowl, with the Melbourne festival unveiling a stacked lineup for its second edition.<\/p>\n<p>After debuting last year, New Year\u2019s at the Bowl will return to Sidney Myer Music Bowl and the surrounding Kings Domain gardens on Thursday, December 31st, with three stages running into the early hours of 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Major Lazer lead the 2026 lineup alongside Don West, DJ Seinfeld (Live), Flight Facilities (DJ), CC!, Helena Hauff, Todd Terje (DJ), Close Counters, Miami Horror, Yung Singh, Adriana, Surusinghe, Maden Lane, Claire O\u2019Brien, MZRIZK, and more. Led by Diplo alongside Walshy Fire, Ape Drums and vocalist America Foster, the group are behind dance hits including \u201cLean On\u201d, \u201cCold Water\u201d, and \u201cLight It Up\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>New Year\u2019s at the Bowl will once again spread across three spaces, with The Bowl serving as its main stage, Garden leaning into live music, soul and disco, and the 360-degree Sundial focusing on club sounds.
