Australia\u2019s newest millionaire has finally claimed their Weekday Windfall prize following a public appeal from lottery bosses.<\/p>\n
However, those hoping to learn of the lucky winner\u2019s identity may need to look for the signs.<\/p>\n
Last week. The Lott issued a public appeal after a single division one winning ticket was purchased at Topz Shopz in Brahma Lodge, north of Adelaide.<\/p>\n
Almost a week had passed and the winner, who did not register with the lottery company, had not come forward to claim their prize.<\/p>\n
On Monday, the search for the winner, who was set for a $1m windfall, came to an end after they presented themselves.<\/p>\n
But the lucky winner has decided against sharing their victory with the world, instead opting to remain tight-lipped and celebrate in private.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you see someone wandering around Brahma Lodge with a beaming smile on their face, they just might be our latest division one winner,\u201d The Lodge spokesman Matt Hart said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe often hear players say they will share it with their family and loved ones and give to charities close to their harts.<\/p>\n
\u201cOther players tell us they are going to use their windfall to renovate or upgrade their homes, buy a shiny new car and plan a long-awaited holiday.<\/p>\n
\u201cHowever, our winner plans to enjoy their prize, we hope it makes a big difference to their life.\u201d<\/p>\n
Topz Shopz assistant manager Rebecca Schultz said it was the third time a division one prize winning entry had been purchased at the store.<\/p>\n

The mystery winner has become the 248th division one winner in 2026 and the 23rd in South Australia.<\/p>\n
