\"SOHHook\u2019s Neverland, a spectacular new circus event will sail into the Sydney Opera House<\/a> and Canberra Theatre Centre<\/a> these summer school holidays, reimagining one of the world\u2019s most beloved stories as a thrilling production where circus, magic, comedy and dazzling visual effects collide.<\/p>\n

Shaped by the imaginations of\u00a0Craig Ilott,\u00a0Stuart Couzens\u00a0(GATSBY at The Green Light\u00a0and\u00a0L\u2019Hotel) with Neil Dorward \u2013 known for directing theatrical extravaganzas (Circus1903,\u00a0The Illusionists\u00a0and Cirque du Soleil\u2019s\u00a0Mad Apple) \u2013 this bold and enchanting production will thrill the young and the young at heart.<\/p>\n

The show will be brought to life by an exhilarating, cinematic score from\u00a0Evan Duffy, composer for Cirque Du Soleil\u2019s\u00a0Auana\u00a0as well as film franchises such as\u00a0Now You See Me.<\/p>\n

Hook\u2019s Neverland is a reimagining of the classic tale of Peter Pan, featuring jaw-dropping aerialists, astonishing acrobats, impossible magic, outrageous comedy and edge-of-your-seat danger \u2013 delivering an unforgettable adventure for audiences of all ages. At the centre of it all is the story\u2019s most notorious pirate \u2013 Captain Hook.<\/p>\n

Hook is razor-sharp, charismatic and determined to rewrite history. But as the relentless tick-tock of the crocodile reminds him that time is running out, he begins to tell a very different version of the story. He insists he\u2019s been misunderstood but can you believe anything Captain Hook tells you? \u2013 The truth may be stranger than the legend.<\/p>\n

Audiences will journey through a Neverland unlike anything they\u2019ve seen before, from a punk-fuelled Fairyland where Tinkerbell is still causing magical mischief and the rebellious chaos of the Lost Boys\u2019 Hideout, to the breathtaking beauty of Mermaid Lagoon, the dangerous secrets of Skull Rock and the swashbuckling madness aboard the Jolly Roger.<\/p>\n

Hook\u2019s Neverland\u00a0will play at the Sydney Opera House<\/a> from 9 \u2013 17 January, before playing the\u00a0Canberra Theatre Centre<\/a> from 21 \u2013 24 January 2027.<\/p>\n
