(Photo by Morgan Hancock\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Across four seasons with City, Pollicina made 85 appearances in all competitions and scored 29 goals, departing as the third-highest goalscorer in the history of the club\u2019s women\u2019s team.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her time in Melbourne also saw her play an integral role in consecutive Premiership-winning campaigns, while her individual performances earned her selection in the PFA Team of the Season on three occasions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pollicina spent the 2025\/26 Ninja A-League season with Melbourne Victory, continuing her goalscoring form with seven goals before making the move back to Western Sydney.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Football Director Mal Impiombato said Pollicina\u2019s return was a massive addition to the Wanderers squad.<br \/>\u201cRhianna is a proven performer in this competition and someone who has consistently demonstrated her quality over a number of seasons,\u201d said Impiombato.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShe brings creativity, goals and significant experience and leadership, but importantly she also understands what it takes \u00a0to win football matches and represent the Western Sydney football community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHaving started her journey with the Wanderers, it is fantastic to welcome Rhianna back to the club and we believe she can play an important role in what we are building.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Head coach Geoff Abrahams said Pollicina\u2019s experience and attacking quality would provide another dimension to the squad.<br \/>\u201cRhianna has established herself as one of the most dangerous attacking players in the competition and we\u2019re really excited to have her joining our group,\u201d said Abrahams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cRhianna also has a genuine connection to Western Sydney and this club, and we\u2019re looking forward to seeing her back in Red &amp; Black and contributing to the team this season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pollicina said returning to the Wanderers represented a special moment in her career.<br \/>\u201cIt\u2019s a very special moment.
