Marc Marquez<\/a> reacted to the new Adelaide street circuit layout for the upcoming MotoGP season.<\/p>\n

During the 2027 season, the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix will no longer take place at the fan-favourite Phillip Island circuit and will instead move to a street circuit in Adelaide.<\/p>\n

In a social media post shared by FOX Motorsports, M\u00e1rquez reacted to a video unveiling the new Australian circuit the championship will visit.<\/p>\n

The Ducati rider said: “So let’s see first virtual lap in Adelaide. So we arrive in the first corner, stop and go, I like it. Looks amazing. Here we see on the right all the fans. <\/p>\n

“And yeah, we are going in a left corner, Turn 3, a fast one. Should be nice. Nice change direction. What I see is a lot of trees that we are not used to ride with that kind of atmosphere around but it’s super nice. <\/p>\n

“Then it’s super nice because here we see that there will be some VIP fans from their own sofa so that is amazing. And yeah, one more time it’s amazing to see a bike between the trees but with enough run off area. That is important of course without the run off area we cannot ride and MotoGP did an incredible job. <\/p>\n

“And here we have the last corner that we have a normal grandstand but I see a very nice box. So yeah, the pit lane looks good nice, it will be interesting to see how is the new track and new experience in Adelaide,” he concluded.<\/p>\n

Marquez lifts lid on incredible 300km\/h Bezzecchi overtake<\/p>\n

Marquez won both the Sprint and Sunday’s race at the Aragon Grand Prix, claiming all 37 points available to him last weekend. On Sunday, he took the lead after overtaking Marco Bezzecchi, having gone side-by-side with him on the back straight.<\/p>\n

He said about the maneouvre<\/a>: \u201cEven on the bike, it was a very strange moment because with all the aerodynamics, there was one moment there at 300 km\/h that our bikes were sucking each other in. <\/p>\n

\u201cI tried to go on the right side, but my bike was sucking to him, and I think his bike was sucking to my bike, so it\u2019s something that, if you see it on the replay, there was some small wheelies in sixth gear.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Marc Marquez reacted to the new Adelaide street circuit layout for the upcoming MotoGP season.
