One Nation has refused to comment after they were caught misrepresenting one of their Victorian candidate\u2019s qualifications.<\/p>\n
Pauline Hanson\u2019s party announced an additional 13 Victorian election candidates on Wednesday. But within hours the party had been accused of lying in its Richmond candidates\u2019 biography.<\/p>\n
The list of candidates on the party\u2019s website had claimed Harrison Rindfleish \u201cgrew up on the NSW Central Coast before completing a double degree in law and commerce in Melbourne\u201d.<\/p>\n
However the candidate\u2019s LinkedIn profile \u2013 which has since been deleted \u2013 shows he is a student and is yet to complete any university qualification.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m currently studying a double degree in Law and Commerce (majoring in Economics),\u201d a cached version of the profile states.<\/p>\n
Screenshots of the page shared on Reddit list two law degrees, one at Swinburne and the other at Deakin, with both listing 2028 as their completion date (this typically indicates the person has transferred from one university to another).<\/p>\n
Commenters on the Reddit post also pointed out the candidate\u2019s claim to have spent a \u201cstint in business development in Japan\u201d appeared to refer to a three-month internship he completed in 2024-25.<\/p>\n
One Nation has been called out on social media over the false qualification claims, with one social media post on X currently showing 89,000 views in less than 24 hours, while an Instagram post has received more than 15,000 likes.<\/p>\n
In response, the party has quietly altered the description of Harrison Rindfleish, with both versions now stating that he is \u201cundertaking\u201d the double degree.<\/p>\n
