{"id":88911,"date":"2026-09-05T18:57:52","date_gmt":"2026-09-05T18:57:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/88911\/"},"modified":"2026-09-05T18:57:52","modified_gmt":"2026-09-05T18:57:52","slug":"casey-treloar-7news-adelaide-weather-presenter-pregnant-after-miscarriages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/88911\/","title":{"rendered":"Casey Treloar: 7NEWS Adelaide weather presenter pregnant after miscarriages"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Holding up her latest scans, which sweetly capture the little one\u2019s tiny hand waving \u201chello\u201d, the 7NEWS weather presenter and fiance Sam Ennis are sharing their exciting news because she admits to being \u201cterrible at keeping secrets\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think I started showing quite early as well \u2013 the wardrobe department has had a couple of challenges in trying to find some outfits appropriate,\u201d says Treloar, who received a message from one bold TV fan asking if she had something to share.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel like that\u2019s part of the reason I want to share this news now. I don\u2019t want to have that speculation, I just want people to know.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re just so excited and we\u2019ve been pretty open with our journey and our losses &#8230; and seeing a happy, healthy little one now in the second trimester, we\u2019re happy to share the news.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"poster-img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/6eb257c68c5be670222e8a947288bee5.jpeg\" data-sctrack=\"op-poster-img\" alt=\"Weather presenter Casey Treloar has some baby news of her own to share\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Treloar says this pregnancy has felt \u201cvery, very different and that has given us some faith\u201d. The 33-year-old has been suffering \u201crelentless\u201d morning sickness \u2013 <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adelaidenow.com.au\/entertainment\/7news-adelaide-weather-presenter-casey-treloar-opens-up-on-grief-and-devastation-after-third-miscarriage\/news-story\/86dcf46f1e9116948ff489114f616646\" title=\"www.adelaidenow.com.au\" data-tgev=\"event119\" data-tgev-container=\"bodylink\" data-tgev-order=\"86dcf46f1e9116948ff489114f616646\" data-tgev-label=\"entertainment\" data-tgev-metric=\"ev\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">something she didn\u2019t experience in her previous pregnancies, which all ended before the eight-week mark.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been very unwell. Crunch time has been between 5pm and 7pm &#8230; I\u2019d get to an ad break and keel over. There have been times when I wasn\u2019t sure I\u2019d make it on air, to be honest,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<p>But the happy news is tinged with nerves for the couple, who suffered three devastating miscarriages in nine months.<\/p>\n<p>Treloar says she felt \u201csomewhat robbed of the joy\u201d when she tested positive to a pregnancy test in July and was already fearing the worst. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was a sense of excitement but in my head I think a lot of what I was working out dates-wise was potentially working out when my next miscarriage might be,\u201d she says. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was trying to work out the dates around that and I was so focused on, you know, when potentially I could get into a D&amp;C (dilation and curettage surgery). The lead up to our first scan was pretty tough.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe won\u2019t be able to fully experience the joy of this pregnancy just because of our history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A worried Ennis says his first reaction was concern for his fiance, who he proposed to in July 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor me, the defence barriers are still up a bit because I\u2019m always thinking worst-case scenario,\u201d says the 33-year-old, a building site supervisor with Hickinbotham Group.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t 100 per cent want to be excited, there\u2019s always something that could happen, I guess, between now and when the baby is due. I don\u2019t think it will fully hit me until I\u2019m at the hospital. But the last couple of scans have been really, really positive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The baby is due to be born in March.
