Melbourne City duo Aziz Behich and Patrick Beach are the latest Isuzu UTE A-League players to be called into the Socceroos\u2019 pre-World Cup training camp in the USA.<\/p>\n

Both players have been drafted into the Socceroos camp by Head Coach Tony Popovic following the conclusion of their Isuzu UTE A-League campaign, with Melbourne City knocked out of the Finals Series by Auckland FC.<\/p>\n

An 82-time Australian international, Behich is almost certain to be included in Popovic\u2019s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup next month.<\/p>\n

Goalkeeper Beach has also been called up to the training camp in Florida having previously made his Socceroos debut under Popovic in November 2025 against Venezuela.<\/p>\n

Beach and Behich join six other Isuzu UTE A-League players who have already made the trip stateside.<\/a><\/p>\n

Macarthur Bulls duo Anthony Caceres and Mitch Duke are joined by Western Sydney Wanderers forward Brandon Borrello and now former Brisbane Roar attacker Nick D\u2019Agostino.<\/p>\n

Melbourne Victory\u2019s Nishan\u00a0Velupillay\u00a0and Socceroos stalwart Mathew Leckie (Melbourne City) have also been selected to form part of the crucial training camp.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Cameron Burgess (Swansea City), Mohamed Toure (Norwich City),\u00a0Nestory\u00a0Irankunda\u00a0(Watford), Daniel Bennie (QPR), Raphael Borges Rodrigues (Wigan Athletic, on loan from Coventry City), Alex Robertson (Cardiff City) and Joe Gauci (Port Vale, on loan from Aston Villa) have also joined the training camp.<\/p>\n

The Socceroos will face tournament co-hosts Mexico in a friendly match at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Los Angeles on May 30 before then relocating to their training base in Oakland the following day.<\/p>\n

Head Coach Popovic will then name his final 26-man squad for the tournament on June 1 ahead of the Socceroos\u2019 final warm-up clash against Switzerland on June 6 in San Diego.<\/p>\n

The Socceroos kick off their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign against Turkiye in Vancouver on June 13.<\/p>\n
