Four people have been injured after a ferry carrying 149 passengers struck a pylon while pulling into Sydney\u2019s Circular Quay during the Monday afternoon peak.<\/p>\n
Emergency services were called shortly after 4.30pm following the collision. Paramedics treated two people for minor injuries at the scene, while another two passengers were taken to hospital.<\/p>\n
One of those hospitalised was understood to be a tourist from Nepal who suffered lacerations to his head.<\/p>\n
The crash disrupted ferry services across the harbour, with routes connecting Circular Quay with Manly and Chiswick suspended. Some services between Circular Quay and Parramatta were also affected.<\/p>\n
Police were seen interviewing passengers aboard the ferry as inquiries began.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Master and the Engineer were subjected to mandatory testing,\u201d NSW Police said in a statement.<\/p>\n
\u201cInquiries are underway into the incident, which will be referred to Australian Maritime Safety Authority for further investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTransdev will conduct a full investigation into the incident, and the incident has been reported to regulatory authorities,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
No major damage to the ferry or wharf was immediately visible and the cause of the collision has not been established.<\/p>\n
