The shows follow his Australian homecoming in 2025 and continue a long-running strand of his live work that places his sparse songwriting alongside larger orchestral arrangements.

The timing also places the shows in a new chapter for RY X. His fourth studio album, ‘DUSK’, is due in early 2027, with its first track ‘Holy Water’ arriving on Thursday September 10. The Australian dates should therefore provide an opportunity for local audiences to hear material from the record alongside established songs including ‘Berlin’, ‘Only’, ‘Salt’, ‘Sweat’ and ‘Oceans’.

RY X has spent much of his career moving between electronic production, intimate songwriting and orchestral work. He has previously collaborated with the LA Philharmonic and London Philharmonic, while his work outside his own records has included writing and production for Drake, Diplo, Black Coffee and John Legend. His catalogue has accumulated more than one billion streams.

Before next year’s tour, Sydney gets a much earlier glimpse of RY X. He will appear at The Calyx in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Garden on Wednesday September 9 for a live performance a day before ‘Holy Water’ is released.

Frontier Members can access the tour presale from 2pm AEST on Thursday September 10, with general tickets on sale from 3pm AEST on Friday September 11.

Go HERE for ticketing information.

Related

Australian-born singer-songwriter and producer RY X will return home in July 2027 for two orchestral performances in Melbourne…

[4
2719,260,152,155839,155840,155841,155842,155843
post-90363","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-melbourne","tag-backseat-downunder","tag-melbourne","tag-news","tag-ry-x","tag-ry-x-australia","tag-ry-x-australian-tour-2027","tag-ry-x-dusk","tag-ry-x-sydney-opera-house
["GET
