L’Iran affirme contrôler le détroit d’Ormuz après les déclarations de Trump sur un contrôle américain

« La marée noire a ensuite dérivé à travers le détroit jusqu’en Iran », précise le site.

La responsable de l’Organisation iranienne de protection de l’environnement, Sheena Ansari, a également dénoncé jeudi sur X l’incident.

« Ce n’est qu’un exemple de la vaste pollution qui a détruit l’écosystème marin de la région au cours des dernières décennies », a-t-elle écrit.

« Qui est responsable de l’indemnisation des dommages? Les pays qui consomment les exportations d’énergie de notre région ou les agresseurs qui ont fait de cette région une base pour des opérations militaires? »

Selon Habib Masihi, chef du département de protection de l’environnement dans la province méridionale du Hormozgan, « la pollution dans le sud de l’île de Qeshm a été presque entièrement nettoyée mercredi soir ».

Il a précisé que la zone côtière touchée s’étendait sur environ 32.000 mètres carrés et la zone aquatique concernée sur quelque 90.000 mètres carrés.

L’Iran contrôle le détroit d’Ormuz depuis le début de la guerre au Moyen-Orient, déclenchée par une offensive israélo-américaine le 28 février.
