Mais il permet \u00e9galement aux astronomes de d\u00e9couvrir des syst\u00e8mes stellaires uniques encore mal connus. R\u00e9cemment, une \u00e9quipe d&rsquo;astronomes dirig\u00e9e par Brian P. Powell, du Goddard Space Flight Center de la NASA, a annonc\u00e9 la d\u00e9couverte d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me stellaire triple.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Au d\u00e9part, les chercheurs pensaient que TIC 295741342 \u00e9tait un syst\u00e8me binaire, mais en r\u00e9alit\u00e9, une \u00e9toile g\u00e9ante tourne autour de ce syst\u00e8me tous les 1,13 ans. Plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, il est compos\u00e9 de deux \u00e9toiles dont la taille et la masse sont similaires \u00e0 celles du Soleil. De plus, leur p\u00e9riode orbitale est d&rsquo;environ 4,75 jours. Cependant, la troisi\u00e8me \u00e9toile, TIC 295741342 B, est environ 1,7 fois plus massive que le Soleil, avec un rayon environ 10,6 fois plus grand. <\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Si de nombreux myst\u00e8res entourent encore l&rsquo;origine de ce syst\u00e8me, les astronomes ont \u00e9mis plusieurs hypoth\u00e8ses. En effet, il semble s&rsquo;\u00eatre form\u00e9 il y a environ 1,46 milliard d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es par fragmentation du disque. Pour souligner cette d\u00e9couverte, les astronomes ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : <\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">\u00ab\u00a0TIC 295741342 est l&rsquo;un des rares syst\u00e8mes stellaires triples \u00e0 \u00e9clipses connus avec une tertiaire g\u00e9ante, et il a de loin l&rsquo;inclinaison mutuelle la plus faible parmi eux.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Mais ce n&rsquo;est pas tout, car des d\u00e9couvertes similaires pourraient \u00eatre faites \u00e0 l&rsquo;avenir gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/Astronomers-discover-118-new-exoplanets-using-AI-and-NASA-s-TESS-satellite.1258546.0.html\" target=\"_self\" class=\"internal-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ce satellite<\/a>.
