Mais de nouvelles simulations sugg\u00e8rent qu\u2019elle pourrait s\u2019\u00eatre form\u00e9e rapidement, en quelques heures seulement.\u00a0&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Pour rappel, la Lune a environ 4,51 milliards d\u2019ann\u00e9es, et les th\u00e9ories actuelles sugg\u00e8rent qu\u2019elle s\u2019est form\u00e9e \u00e0 la suite d\u2019une collision entre la Terre et une autre plan\u00e8te. En effet, on pense que cette protoplan\u00e8te, baptis\u00e9e Theia, est entr\u00e9e en collision avec la Terre, projetant de grandes quantit\u00e9s de d\u00e9bris en orbite et donnant ainsi naissance \u00e0 la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.notebookcheck.biz\/Un-satellite-sud-coreen-a-capture-des-images-de-l-x27-impact-de-la-fusee-SpaceX-sur-la-Lune.1363889.0.html\" target=\"_self\" class=\"internal-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Lune<\/a>.\u00a0&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Cependant, les simulations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes ne tenaient pas compte de la r\u00e9sistance des mat\u00e9riaux, qui joue un r\u00f4le important dans ce type d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swri.org\/newsroom\/press-releases\/swri-led-modeling-identifies-new-scenarios-moon-formation\" data-htmlarea-external=\"1\" rtekeep=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">comme l\u2019explique<\/a> le Dr Adeene Denton, chercheuse postdoctorale au sein de la division \u00ab Sciences et exploration du syst\u00e8me solaire \u00bb du SwRI :\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">\u00ab Lorsque l\u2019on simule la Terre et la Lune en tant que corps en collision dot\u00e9s de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s g\u00e9ologiques, cela modifie la mani\u00e8re dont la Lune se forme \u00e0 la suite de cet impact \u2014 c\u2019est un aspect que nous jugions auparavant superflu. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Ainsi, en int\u00e9grant la r\u00e9sistance des mat\u00e9riaux et la temp\u00e9rature dans les simulations men\u00e9es par le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swri.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Southwest Research Institute (SwRI)<\/a>, les chercheurs ont d\u00e9couvert que la formation de la Lune \u00e9tait sensible \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature des mat\u00e9riaux. Par cons\u00e9quent, certains sc\u00e9narios aboutissent \u00e0 la formation d\u2019un disque protolunaire en orbite autour de la Terre au fil du temps.
