Toutefois, gr\u00e2ce aux r\u00e9centes observations du JWST, il semble que l&rsquo;objet spatial ait des origines moins myst\u00e9rieuses.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Les r\u00e9sultats sugg\u00e8rent que 3I\/ATLAS a commenc\u00e9 sa vie dans une partie froide et lointaine de la Voie lact\u00e9e. Avec des estimations de 10 \u00e0 12 milliards d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es, l&rsquo;\u00e2ge de la com\u00e8te est plus de deux fois sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui de la Terre et du syst\u00e8me solaire. L&rsquo;\u00e2ge de la com\u00e8te 3I\/ATLAS est \u00e9galement proche de celui de la Voie lact\u00e9e (13,6 milliards d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es) et de l&rsquo;univers lui-m\u00eame (13,8 milliards d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es).&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Comment le JWST a fait la d\u00e9couverte<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">L&rsquo;instrument extra-terrestre JWST a recueilli ces nouvelles donn\u00e9es lors d&rsquo;un survol de la com\u00e8te \u00e0 la fin de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e 2025. Il a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 la composition du gaz qui s&rsquo;est form\u00e9 sur la com\u00e8te lorsque le soleil l&rsquo;a chauff\u00e9e, provoquant la sublimation de la glace \u00e0 sa surface.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Selon les estimations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes, l&rsquo;\u00e2ge de 3I\/ATLAS se situe entre 3 et 11 milliards d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es. Cependant, selon le chercheur Romain Maggiolo, \u00ab\u00a0ils montrent que la composition isotopique de 3I\/ATLAS est tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rente de celle des com\u00e8tes du syst\u00e8me solaire et sugg\u00e8rent qu&rsquo;elle s&rsquo;est probablement form\u00e9e il y a 10 \u00e0 12 milliards d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es\u00a0\u00bb&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 propos de la com\u00e8te 3I\/ATLAS<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">On estime que la com\u00e8te mesure 440 m et 5,6 km de large.
