Une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e le 8 avril 2026 dans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41564-025-02106-4\" title=\"Future ocean warming may cause large reductions in Prochlorococcus biomass and productivity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nature Microbiology<\/a>, men\u00e9e par l&rsquo;\u00e9cole d&rsquo;oc\u00e9anographie de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00c9tat de Washington \u00e0 Seattle, aux \u00c9tats-Unis, montre que leur concentration diminue lorsque la temp\u00e9rature de l&rsquo;eau d\u00e9passe 28\u202f\u00b0C.
