Situ\u00e9 \u00e0 environ 30 millions d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re de la Terre et mesurant environ 50 000 ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re de diam\u00e8tre, cet objet c\u00e9leste reste myst\u00e9rieux.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Mais r\u00e9cemment, une image a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9voil\u00e9e, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant des d\u00e9tails uniques sur cette structure. En effet, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la Dark Energy Camera (DECam) du t\u00e9lescope Victor M. Blanco ( <a href=\"https:\/\/noirlab.edu\/public\/programs\/ctio\/victor-blanco-4m-telescope\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">), cette galaxie a \u00e9t\u00e9 captur\u00e9e comme jamais auparavant<\/a>cette galaxie a \u00e9t\u00e9 captur\u00e9e comme jamais auparavant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">En cons\u00e9quence, cette galaxie, qui ressemble \u00e0 un chapeau mexicain traditionnel, contient environ 2 000 amas d&rsquo;\u00e9toiles globulaires et un trou noir supermassif situ\u00e9 en son centre, tout comme la Voie lact\u00e9e. Mais sur cette image, un autre d\u00e9tail est visible. En effet, on peut voir son halo lumineux, qui est trois fois plus grand que la galaxie elle-m\u00eame.  &#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Et au bas de cette image, il est possible de voir un flux stellaire massif compos\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9toiles. Pour expliquer sa pr\u00e9sence, les astronomes pensent qu&rsquo;une galaxie plus petite a fusionn\u00e9 avec le Sombrero Galaxy dans le pass\u00e9. Les d\u00e9tails r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9s par cette nouvelle image montrent donc cet objet c\u00e9leste comme jamais auparavant. Ils permettent \u00e9galement aux astronomes de mieux comprendre cette structure.
