Hij heeft er vier jaar hard voor gewerkt, buitenlandse avonturen voor beleefd en zich bewezen als militair.<\/p>\n<p>Prins Gabriel<img loading=\"lazy\" data-lazyloaded=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/be-nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/2026-belgie-gabriel-diploma-KMS-ANP-03-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"2026 belgie gabriel diploma KMS ANP 03\" class=\"wp-image-26784\"  data-\/>(c) ANP<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gabri\u00ebl blijft bij Defensie: eerst wacht hem een gespecialiseerde opleiding aan de Infanterieschool in Aarlen. Daar wordt hij opgeleid tot pelotonscommandant. Die opleiding loopt volgens de huidige planning tot maart 2027 en is vooral praktijkgericht. Koningin Mathilde stond trots te stralen met een wolkje boven haar hoofd: \u2018O, hemel, mijn kind gaat uit vliegtuigen springen\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Prinses Elisabeth<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gabri\u00ebls oudere zus prinses Elisabeth stelde haar tussenjaar uit om bij de ceremonie te zijn.
