Square Enix heeft een jubileumwebsite online gezet voor Final Fantasy X. De game werd op 19 juli 2001 uitgebracht op PlayStation 2, dus over een paar maanden is het precies 25 jaar geleden.<\/p>\n

Pluche Tidus en een artbook<\/p>\n

Tegelijk met de website<\/a> maakte Square Enix wat merchandise bekend. Er komen pluche figuurtjes van Tidus, Yuna en een aantal andere personages, een vinyl-set met muziek uit de game, en een artbook.<\/p>\n

Final Fantasy X heeft wereldwijd meer dan 8,9 miljoen exemplaren verkocht. De remaster<\/a>, die ook X-2 meepakt, staat al jaren op vrijwel elk platform dat je kunt bedenken.<\/p>\n

Geen nieuwe game in zicht<\/p>\n

Een nieuwe release of remake zit er vooralsnog niet in. Square Enix<\/a> viert het jubileum met spullen en een website, meer niet. Dat is opmerkelijk, want vergelijkbare jubilea in de serie leidden eerder wel tot concrete aankondigingen. Of er later dit jaar nog iets volgt, zegt het bedrijf niet.<\/p>\n
