During the meeting of Ukrainian Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov with Belgian counterpart Theo Francken and Spanish counterpart Margarita Robles, the cooperation priorities ahead of the Ramstein Summit were agreed, aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defense potential and boosting European security.
According to Fedorov, published on his Telegram page, the parties outlined the main areas of interaction: strengthening air defense, developing drone capabilities, and participation in the Czech initiative to provide the front with long-range artillery.

Belgium this year is allocating defense aid to Ukraine at the level of €1 billion. The country also confirmed its intention to deliver additional F-16 fighters to Ukraine and to ensure the supply of spare parts for the existing aircraft.
This year Spain is also providing €1 billion in support for Ukraine. During the meeting they discussed the development of defense industry cooperation, particularly within the European SAFE mechanism. Ukraine is ready to offer a list of manufacturers who can establish cooperation with Spanish companies.
Ukraine also proposed the possibility of testing Spanish drones in combat conditions.
Fedorov expressed gratitude to Belgium and Spain for their steadfast support.
