So far, there’s no word of any Western Balkan politician being closely linked to Epstein, even though a few were forced to issue denials after being mentioned in the released files, but shockwaves from the States surely caused tremors across the region. Why? Because the name of one of the most consequential figures for the region appears hundreds of times.
Miroslav Lajcak has resigned from his position as national security adviser to Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico after revelations of his chummy conversations with Epstein while he was foreign minister.
