The European Broadcasting Union has released the full split results of the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, revealing how viewers and juries voted separately during Tuesday’s dramatic qualification show in Vienna.
And once again, the split scoreboard tells a very different story from the combined results shown during the live broadcast.
Israel emerged as the clear winner of the first semi-final with 269 points, powered by a massive televote performance. At the same time, countries such as Belgium and Sweden qualified almost entirely thanks to jury support, while Estonia narrowly missed out despite outperforming some qualifiers with the public vote.
Israel dominates the semi-final
Israel’s Noam Bettan and Michelle topped the semi-final with 269 points overall, receiving 163 points from the televote and 106 from the juries.
The result once again highlighted Israel’s enormous public voting strength, continuing a trend that has increasingly shaped Eurovision scoreboards in recent years.
Poland finished second overall with 247 points, while Finland completed the top three on 227 points.
Moldova and Serbia score huge televote numbers
One of the biggest surprises of the split results came from Moldova.
Satoshi and Viva, Moldova! received a massive 146 televote points — the second-highest public score of the semi-final — despite placing only seventh with the juries.
Serbia also proved significantly stronger with the public than with juries, collecting 131 televote points compared to just 56 from the professional panels.
Belgium and Sweden rescued by the juries
The split scoreboard also revealed two very different qualification stories for Belgium and Sweden.
Belgium qualified with only 10 televote points, but an enormous 81 jury points pushed ESSYLA comfortably into the Grand Final.
Sweden experienced a similar pattern. FELICIA received just 17 televote points from viewers but secured qualification thanks to 79 jury points.
Without the juries, both countries would have faced elimination.
Estonia misses out despite stronger televote
Perhaps the most controversial result of the night was Estonia.
Vanilla Ninja’s Too Epic To Be True finished 11th overall with 79 points, narrowly missing qualification.
However, Estonia actually received significantly stronger televote support than both Belgium and Sweden, collecting 46 points from the public.
The result is already sparking debate among fans online about the continuing influence of jury voting in the semi-finals.
