Best Bet for Spain vs. Belgium
Spain Win to Zero: Spain have yet to concede a goal in this World Cup and are the only team to do so. I think they keep another clean sheet here against a Belgian side that is inconsistent. Belgium started off the tournament slowly and have improved as it’s gone on, but they haven’t faced an opponent like Spain yet. The Spaniards are battle-tested, having already beaten big teams such as Uruguay and Portugal.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup continues on Friday as Spain faces Belgium in the quarter-finals. Below Ciaran Doyle will give his best bet for the match on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Spain is currently ranked third in the FIFA rankings, while Belgium sits at eighth in the world.
This bet can be found under the “Match Parlays” tab. Spain have played well so far in this tournament, but I still think they can reach another level offensively. Their star man Lamine Yamal has yet to reach his heights of the 2024 Euros, as he only has one goal contribution so far in this World Cup. Defensively though, this team is rock solid. Spain have yet to concede in this tournament and I think that streak will continue for at least one more game. This Spanish team has been impossible to beat in recent years. They have not lost a competitive match inside of 90 minutes since March of 2023, when they fell 2-0 to Scotland. Taking aside penalty shootouts, this team is undefeated in over three years.
As I mentioned earlier, Belgium did not have a great start to this tournament. They drew 1-1 with Egypt and then 0-0 with Iran. Since then, they’ve won three in a row, but it goes to show that you never really know what version of this team you’re going to get. They made a few surprising changes to their team against the United States in the Round of 16, leaving Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku on the bench in that game. That gamble certainly paid off as they looked the best they have in this tournament.
Unfortunately for them, Spain are on another level. Belgium have not faced a team like this so far in the tournament, and I think they lose this one. The bigger question is whether or not Spain can keep a clean sheet. Based on their recent defensive record, I’m going to say yes. Spain have failed to concede a goal in 10 of their last 11 competitive matches. The Belgians are in trouble here.
Best Bet: Spain Win to Zero (+175)
