World-renowned techno DJ and producer Amelie Lens is set to release her brand new debut album ‘AURA’ this Friday 4th September. The upcoming release will land on her own label ‘EXHALE’ after much anticipation. Clash had a sneak-preview of the album and it’s safe to say this is will be a pivotal landmark moment for Amelie and the techno scene at large.

The single is a key moment for both artists, two Belgian powerhouses who work in distinctly different fields. The pair have known one another for years, but this represents something special – it’s the sole feature on Amelie’s upcoming debut album, ‘AURA’.

Amelie comments…

“Angèle’s voice was the only one I could imagine on this track. I have been such a fan of hers for so long, I think she’s a truly special talent and that’s why she’s the only other artist and only collab on my whole album.”

The track has already made a huge impression, with Angèle adding:

“I met Amelie through mutual friends, and every time we see each other, whether it’s in Belgium or somewhere else in the world, we just click instantly. I love her energy and her determination. I got the chance to see her last year at Glastonbury, I got goosebumps straight away. When she called to ask if I’d be on a track from her first album, I heard the track and didn’t even have to think about it. I admire her so much, both as an artist and as a woman. I’m really happy we finally got to make something together.”
