It allows coaches to work with professional reserve teams, top-flight youth academies up to U18 level, second-tier professional men’s clubs and top-tier women’s teams.
Omolo’s latest achievement comes after he had already begun preparing for life beyond playing while continuing his professional career in Europe.
He also holds an Executive MBA in Sports Management, giving him a combination of advanced coaching education, sports management knowledge and extensive experience at the professional and international level.

Omolo brought his playing career to an end in 2024 after leaving Belgian side KV Oostende, closing an 18-year journey that saw him become one of Kenya’s longest-serving professionals in European football.
He started his European career in Belgium in 2007 with CS Visé before moving to Luxembourg, where he joined CS Fola Esch.
After two seasons at Fola Esch, he returned to Belgium, playing for Beerschot AC and Lommel United before joining Royal Antwerp, where he spent three seasons between 2014 and 2017.

He later moved to Cercle Brugge and was part of the team that won the Belgian First Division B title in the 2017-2018 campaign, earning promotion to the top flight.
Omolo subsequently continued his career in Turkey with BB Erzurumspor and Kocaelispor before returning to Belgium, where he rejoined CS Visé in 2022.
He later signed for KV Oostende in 2023, his final professional club.
