Belgium evacuates EU citizens from Middle East

Belgium’s Ministry of Defence announced on X that two Airbus A400M military transport planes were deployed to evacuate citizens from the region.

The planes transported 74 Belgian nationals and 60 citizens from other European countries from Dubai to Hurghada. 

Together with @BelgiumDefence, two A400M military aircraft were deployed today to transfer 74 Belgians and 60 other European citizens from Dubai to Hurghada.

“A charter flight is bringing them back home,” the ministry noted.
