Fluxys LNG, a unit of Fluxys, is offering slots on July 9 and July 17.<\/p>\n

For these slots, Fluxys LNG commercializes the firm rights to unload, store, and regasify up to 140 000 cbm LNG over 10 days, the LNG terminal operator said.<\/p>\n

The starting price per slot is the regulated tariff of a slot.<\/p>\n

For April 2026, this is 626.101,91 euros ($737,305).<\/p>\n

Fluxys LNG will hold auctions for both slots via a dedicated website on May 5.<\/p>\n

The company recently said <\/a>that its LNG terminal in Zeebrugge received a record number of ships last year, while a total of 480 TWh of natural gas was fed into the grid to supply Belgium and its neighboring countries.<\/p>\n

The company noted that since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, pipeline gas flows that previously entered Europe from Russia in the east have fallen \u201cdramatically\u201d.<\/p>\n

Replacement volumes for North-West Europe now come largely from the west, and the Fluxys Belgium network plays a \u201ckey role here,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n

Fluxys said that nearly 40 percent more natural gas flowed to Germany and the Netherlands via its infrastructure in the Zeebrugge area compared to 2024, accounting for a quarter of consumption in Germany.<\/p>\n

In operation since 1987, the Zeebrugge LNG terminal mostly receives shipments from Qatar, the US, and Russia.<\/p>\n

Due to high LNG demand, Fluxys is\u00a0expanding the facility<\/a>, and it has already increased the terminal\u2019s capacity by adding three new open-rack vaporizers.<\/p>\n

The capacity has been increased since January 1, 2024, to 11.3 mtpa (15 bcma).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe additional sendout capacity (1.3 mtpa \/ 2 bcma) is scheduled to be available on January 1, 2026,\u201d Fluxys said previously.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Fluxys LNG, a unit of Fluxys, is offering slots on July 9 and July 17.
