Georgia\u2019s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili held a meeting with EU Ambassador Pavel Herczynski, APA<\/a>\u2019s local bureau reports.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, dissatisfaction was expressed regarding the ambassador\u2019s statements about Georgia made at an event held in Brussels.<\/p>\n

The foreign minister noted that Brussels\u2019 current policy, actions\u00a0and statements toward Tbilisi undermine trust between Georgia and the EU and harm the partnership.<\/p>\n

The minister said that Brussels\u2019 actions can only be assessed as steps aimed at further polarizing Georgian society and promoting a radical agenda.<\/p>\n

Bochorishvili emphasized that the Georgian authorities are ready for constructive dialogue and expect a fair and respectful approach from the EU.<\/p>\n

Note that Pavel Herczynski recently stated that Georgia is at a crossroads.
