{"id":13287,"date":"2026-04-28T12:46:31","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T12:46:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/be\/13287\/"},"modified":"2026-04-28T12:46:31","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T12:46:31","slug":"eu-extends-sanctions-against-myanmar-by-a-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/be\/13287\/","title":{"rendered":"EU extends sanctions against Myanmar by a year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BRUSSELS, April 27 (Reuters) &#8211; The \u2060European Union on Monday extended its sanctions against \u2060Myanmar until at least May 2027, in an effort \u200cto maintain pressure on the country&#8217;s military rulers more than five years after their coup toppled an elected government.<\/p>\n<p>The measures include asset freezes, \u200btravel bans and an arms embargo for \u2060105 individuals and 22 \u2060entities.
