The newswire said hundreds of Chinese troops would also undergo training in Russia as part of the agreement.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">In May, the Chinese foreign ministry denied the Reuters report, saying that \u201con the issue of the Ukrainian crisis, China has consistently adhered to an objective and impartial position and made efforts to promote peace negotiations\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>China\u2019s Xi hails \u2018fruitful\u2019 talks with Russia\u2019s Putin #xitrumpsummit<\/p>\n<p>Beijing insists that it is neutral in the Ukraine war, launched by a full-scale Russian invasion of its neighbour in February 2022.
