The United States<\/a>‘ starting lineup is set for Monday night’s knockout game vs. Belgium at the 2026 FIFA World Cup<\/a> (8 pm ET | FOX, Telemundo, Peacock).<\/p>\n

The winner of this Round of 16 match advances to the quarterfinals, where Spain await on July 10 in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The USMNT have an unchanged lineup from their 2-0 victory<\/a> over Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Round of 32.<\/p>\n

That includes striker Folarin Balogun, whose red-card suspension was pushed back<\/a> earlier this week. Balogun is the team’s leading goalscorer with three goals this World Cup.<\/p>\n

For MLS representation,\u00a0Charlotte FC<\/a>\u00a0center back\u00a0Tim Ream<\/a> captains the side and New York City FC<\/a>\u00a0goalkeeper\u00a0Matt Freese<\/a> is between the sticks.<\/p>\n

Tyler Adams (Red Bull New York<\/a>) and Alex Freeman (Orlando City<\/a>) are both MLS homegrown alums. Weston McKennie (FC Dallas<\/a>) also developed in MLS.<\/p>\n

Leandro Trossard headlines the attack, while stars J\u00e9r\u00e9my Doku, Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne are available off the bench.<\/p>\n

Belgium beat the US in the countries’ last World Cup meeting, a 2-1 extra-time victory at Brazil 2014.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lukaku and De Bruyne both scored in the match.
