Despite United\u2019s abysmal start to the new campaign and Ruben Amorim\u2019s concerning comments<\/a> about his players, INEOS have no plans to jettison their head coach so early in the season.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Instead the club\u2019s hierarchy are trying to bring in a new goalkeeper on the back of Andre Onana\u2019s disastrous showing at Grimsby Town.<\/p>\n Senne Lammens destined to join Manchester United<\/p>\n According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri<\/a>, United are in talks with Royal Antwerp for the transfer of their highly-rated goalkeeper Senne Lammens.<\/p>\n It is claimed the Belgian outfit are \u201cvery confident\u201d of selling Lammens to the Premier League giants.<\/p>\n Writing on X, Tavolieri revealed: \u201cTalks has been accelerating in the last hours and RAFC\u2019s now very confident to get the deal done during the week-end.\u201d<\/p>\n It is believed the deal for the 23-year-old\u2019s services is worth \u20ac25 million.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Standing in at 6\u20194\u2033, Lammens is viewed as the possible heir to Thibaut Courtois in Belgium, owing to his imposing presence and sharp reflexes.<\/p>\n In recent days, Galatasaray have tried to outbid United<\/a>, but Lammens has given the \u201cgreen light\u201d to a move to Old Trafford. He will reportedly sign a five-year contract.<\/p>\n Senne Lammens out of Royal Antwerp training<\/p>\n It appears the Antwerp number one\u2019s exit is a matter of when, and not if, as Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad (via Sport Witness<\/a>) reports the player is out of group training.<\/p>\n Further, it is thought he will not be in the squad to face\u00a0Westerlo on Saturday as Antwerp are anticipating a \u201cmajor outgoing transfer.\u201d Their current biggest sale is the \u20ac20m deal which took Arthur Vermeeren to Atletico Madrid in 2024.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Manager Stef Wils is quoted as saying: \u201cSenne is following an individual program, in consultation with all parties.
