Georgia\u2019s parliamentary speaker has accused Brussels of damaging relations between Tbilisi and the European Union, saying it is now up to European officials to repair the ties.<\/p>\n
Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili said the deterioration in relations was the responsibility of Brussels and outlined necessary steps to restore trust, Caliber.Az<\/a> reports, citing Georgian media<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Papuashvili said European actors must abandon what he characterised as attempts to undermine Georgia\u2019s government, stop the alleged covert financing of non-governmental organisations and schemes aimed at circumventing Georgian law, and end what he called anti-Georgian rhetoric.
