{"id":6580,"date":"2026-03-17T07:59:56","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T07:59:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/be\/6580\/"},"modified":"2026-03-17T07:59:56","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T07:59:56","slug":"spanish-belgian-firms-sign-deal-to-market-counter-drone-system-in-belgium","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/be\/6580\/","title":{"rendered":"Spanish, Belgian Firms Sign Deal to Market Counter-Drone System in Belgium"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ga-asi.com\/remotely-piloted-aircraft\/gambit-series\" aria-label=\"WhatsApp Image 2026-01-20 at 02.12.26\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2026-01-20-at-02.12.26.jpeg\" alt=\"\"   class=\"no-lazyload\" width=\"1470\" height=\"620\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Spanish firms EM&amp;E Group, Indra Group, and Belgian company Intersoft Electronics Services have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indragroup.com\/en\/news\/eme-group-indra-group-and-intersoft-partner-to-offer-c-uas-capabilites-to-the-belgian-market-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">signed<\/a> an agreement to jointly promote counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) technologies for the Belgian defense market.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative was announced during the Brussels European Defense Exhibition &amp; Conference.<\/p>\n<p>Under the arrangement, EM&amp;E Group will contribute electro-optical sensors and remotely operated weapon stations, while Indra will provide radar capabilities and command-and-control architecture to manage the C-UAS.<\/p>\n<p>Intersoft Electronics Services, which specializes in radar and communication, navigation, and surveillance technologies, will support the integration and commercialization of the solution within Belgium.<\/p>\n<p>The joint solution is expected to include tools for drone detection, identification, tracking, and potential neutralization across different operational environments.<\/p>\n<p>The companies emphasized that the partnership supports European defense autonomy by integrating EU-developed technologies, reducing dependence on external suppliers, and strengthening airspace protection against growing drone threats.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur ability to establish collaborative partnerships enables us to move faster, deliver better systems, and provide customers with the highest level of service throughout the entire lifecycle,\u201d said Teresa Cabez\u00f3n, International Defence Business VP of Indra.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"623\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/belga-1024x623.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-127219\"  \/>Belgian soldier.
