{"id":1764,"date":"2026-06-20T18:08:06","date_gmt":"2026-06-20T18:08:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/belarus\/1764\/"},"modified":"2026-06-20T18:08:06","modified_gmt":"2026-06-20T18:08:06","slug":"zelenskyy-warns-belarus-over-its-assistance-to-russia-in-its-war-against-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/belarus\/1764\/","title":{"rendered":"Zelenskyy warns Belarus over its assistance to Russia in its war against Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Four repeaters near border<\/p>\n<p>According to President Zelenskyy, special equipment has been installed along the Ukrainian border on Belarusian territory to help Russian forces guide drone strikes.<\/p>\n<p>Intelligence has identified four such repeaters in the Gomel and Brest regions.<\/p>\n<p>This equipment was used in attacks on the Zhytomyr, Rivne, and Volyn regions, targeting energy infrastructure, railways, and civilian facilities.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Belarus still has time to dismantle this equipment,&#8221; the Ukrainian leader stressed.<\/p>\n<p>Industry, fuel support for Russia<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine also monitors every Belarusian enterprise that supports the Russian army by supplying components for armored vehicles and missile systems.<\/p>\n<p>Another factor of direct involvement in the war is fuel supplies to Russia. According to Kyiv, from January to May, gasoline exports from Belarus to Russia increased 13-fold, while diesel exports to Russia tripled compared to last year.<\/p>\n<p>Zelenskyy added that unofficial channels of the Belarusian leadership claim opposition to the war, but the country&#8217;s actual actions must confirm this stance.<\/p>\n<p>What preceded this ultimatum<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Belarusian leader Aleksandr Lukashenko apologized to Zelenskyy for his harsh remarks in an interview with Al Arabiya.<\/p>\n<p>He explained his offensive statements by referring to alleged Ukrainian threats to strike 500 targets on Belarusian territory. He also urged the Ukrainian president to calm down.<\/p>\n<p>In response to Minsk&#8217;s move, <a href=\"https:\/\/newsukraine.rbc.ua\/news\/lukashenko-has-one-week-zelenskyy-issues-1781887277.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued a strict ultimatum to Belarus, giving Lukashenko one week<\/a> to remove special equipment from border regions. The president stressed that &#8220;no one is offended by words alone,&#8221; and that real actions are expected from the neighboring country.<\/p>\n<p>According to a source in the Defense Forces, <a href=\"https:\/\/newsukraine.rbc.ua\/news\/inside-zelenskyy-s-ultimatum-to-lukashenko-1781893708.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kyiv demands the dismantling of Russian repeaters<\/a>. This equipment, together with Belarusian communication systems, is used by Russian forces to guide Shahed drone strikes on Ukrainian territory.
