Defensive measures are ongoing on islands along the Dnipro River in the border area, where a certain level of activity has also been detected, and Ukrainian forces continue to closely monitor developments on the Belarusian side.<\/p>\n The situation remains fully under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.<\/p>\n Threat of offensive from Belarus<\/p>\n According to previous reports, Ukraine is significantly reinforcing its northern border<\/a> over concerns that Belarus could become directly involved in the war on Russia’s side. International observers indicate that Ukrainian forces are strengthening fortifications and closely monitoring the movement of military equipment and drones across the border.<\/p>\n At the same time, military analysts say there are currently no signs that a strike force capable of launching an immediate offensive is being assembled.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the State Border Guard Service has also commented on whether new provocations from Belarus could occur in the near future<\/a>.<\/p>\n Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to assess the risk of renewed enemy operations toward Kyiv and the country’s western regions, similar to those seen during the early stages of the full-scale invasion by Russia, and remain on full combat readiness.<\/p>\n
