MOSCOW, 28 August (BelTA) \u2013 Belarus is meeting and even exceeding its commitments in developing cooperation with Russia, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Moscow on 28 August, BelTA has learned.<\/p>\n

The Belarusian head of state noted that the meeting with the Russian prime minister had been planned for a long time and was being held ahead of the talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin scheduled for the following day. \u201cWe will discuss many issues with him,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Aleksandr Lukashenko extended his gratitude to Mikhail Mishustin and the Russian government for flawlessly delivering on their promises to Belarus.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think you also have no grounds for any complaints against Belarus. I must once again publicly assure you that everything we planned is being implemented and will be accomplished,\u201d the Belarusian leader emphasized. \u201cFrom minor details regarding fuel \u2013 different types of diesel, gasoline, and so on \u2013 to food products, we are meeting our commitments and even exceeding them. You can have no doubt about that. This applies all the way to serious, systemic issues within our union and within the EAEU.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that Mikhail Mishustin is expected in Belarus in early October. This period will feature meetings of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia and the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, while Minsk will simultaneously host the 2nd INNOPROM. Belarus international industrial expo. <\/p>\n

Aleksandr Lukashenko recalled that he also recently held a meeting with Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov in Minsk: \u201cWe held a meaningful meeting with him.
