The funeral date for a woman who was found dead at her home in Wakefield has been announced.
On Thursday, March 5, mum-of-three Carolann Barraclough was found dead at her home in Ken Churchill Drive in Horbury, Wakefield. Her body was found in a freezer at her home. Her husband, David Barraclough, 45, of Ken Churchill Drive, Horbury, has been charged with murder.
Now a funeral is set to be held for Carolann, who is known as Caz to her friends and relatives. According to her friends and family, her funeral will take place on Monday, April 27. They are raising money through GoFundMe to support her children and family, and to help pay for the funeral costs.
Posting to the fundraising page they wrote: “Details of Caz’s funeral have now been confirmed and will take place on Monday 27th April. The family have received the full breakdown of costs, including legal fees, cremation, the service, flowers, cars, and more. The total comes to £7,346, which is an incredibly large amount.
“Thanks to the kindness and generosity of everyone who has donated to the GoFundMe so far, we have raised £3,000 towards these costs. We are so grateful but we would love to keep pushing further to help ease as much of this financial burden as possible during such a heartbreaking time for the family.
“Please help us by sharing this far and wide, and donating if you’re able. Every single contribution, no matter the size, truly makes a difference.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for your continued kindness and support. The family are deeply touched and incredibly grateful for everything”.
