The order will be executed through Bromford Precision Solutions, a UK-based specialist aero-engine components manufacturer in Leicestershire, recently acquired by Sigma.Defence and aerospace precision engineering major Sigma Advanced Systems Limited has secured an additional long-term agreement valued at nearly £125 million (approximately ₹1,600 crore) with Rolls-Royce Aerospace UK, the company informed stock exchanges in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.
The order will be executed through Bromford Precision Solutions, a UK-based specialist aero-engine components manufacturer in Leicestershire, recently acquired by Sigma.
The new deal builds directly on an earlier ~£300 million (roughly ₹3,800 crore) long-term contract signed with Rolls-Royce, broadening Sigma’s content and manufacturing presence across critical global aerospace programmes, the company said.
Under the contract, Bromford will manufacture aero-engine rings, casings, lock plates, and complex structural engine parts across Sigma’s dual manufacturing hubs in India and the UK, delivering a multi-location supply chain directed by Rolls-Royce.
“This agreement is another strong marker of how far India’s precision engineering and defence-aerospace manufacturing base has come,” noted Sunil Kalidindi, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Sigma Advanced Systems.
“Global OEMs like Rolls-Royce are increasingly looking to India not just for cost advantage, but for engineering depth, quality and scale. By combining Bromford’s UK capabilities with our integrated India manufacturing network, we are able to offer a genuinely global, dual-source solution,” he added.
The transaction highlights the integration of Bromford alongside Nasmyth, another UK subsidiary under Sigma’s international aerospace platform, enabling the Group to scale high-value, long-duration aerospace partnerships.
Sigma Advanced Systems (formerly Megasoft Limited) operates in design and precision manufacturing for defence electronics, aerospace, radar, and avionics, while expanding its export footprint with global OEMs.
