Two of Nigel Farage’s family members have had their bank accounts frozen because of their association with the Reform UK leader, a friend has claimed.
The Reform leader is said to be “seething” about the impact his political career is having on his family.
Just weeks ago, Mr Farage said he had “never been angrier” after a Sky News reporter visited a property where his daughter lives while he was abroad.
Mr Farage labelled the approach as “intimidating” and Ofcom has opened an investigation following a complaint from Reform UK.
“You tell your bosses, you harass my family any more and there will be serious consequences,” he said at the time.
Now a friend has told The Sunday Express that two of the MP’s family members have had their bank accounts frozen due to their association with the politician.
GB News has contacted Reform UK to verify these claims.
Mr Farage is also facing a parliamentary standards investigation over the donations, as well as a £5million gift he accepted from cryptocurrency billionaire Christopher Harborne before the 2024 general election.

Ofcom confirmed that it had accepted a complaint concerning a report broadcast by Sky News and was investigating it earlier this month.
Sky News said it was attempting to contact the Reform leader about donations he had received from George Cottrell, one of his close associates who has been convicted of fraud in the US.
In Reform’s complaint, they claimed that the report failed to include important context, including his assertion that his daughter had felt “harassed and unsafe” following media attendance at her home.
The revelation from Mr Farage’s friend comes just a day after the Reform UK National Conference concluded in Birmingham.

Mr Farage’s keynote speech at the event was disrupted by protestors.
Four protesters who had smuggled themselves into the main hall at the NEC in Birmingham were forcibly removed after counter-terror police were accused of blocking Mr Farage’s address by more than an hour.
Speaking from the stage a few minutes later, Mr Farage added: “I’m sorry we were delayed. It was a security alert. I was told, for security reasons, I couldn’t take to the stage.”
Mr Farage’s speech was delayed until 5.20pm after campaigners unveiled a banner depicting Mr Farage as Mr Monopoly.
The banner, which was in reference to a gift handed to Mr Farage by the cryptocurrency billionaire Christopher Harborne, added: “Collect £5million, burn the planet.”
A sniffer dog was brought into the main hall to carry out a security search before Mr Farage’s speech.
After one interruption, Mr Farage joked: “These are the benefits of a university education, folks.”
He later asked another protester: “Tell us, love, is it sociology, is it? Yeah, I bet it is.”
The Reform UK leader echoed his previous response to protesters by leading members in chanting: “Boring, boring, boring.”
In a fourth exchange, Mr Farage said: “That poor young girl, she looked like she was going to do herself an injury, didn’t she?”
