Temporary closures are planned on 12 lines across the capital this April, Transport for London (TfL) has warned. Maintenance and upgrades are planned on almost every Underground and Overground line, with the majority of work taking place on the weekends.

There will be no service on the entire Hammersmith and City line for three days at the start of the month, forcing commuters and tourists to find an alternative route. Changes are also scheduled on the Elizabeth line and DLR, with some trains stopping short or running less frequently

Additionally, Tube strikes may go ahead between April 21 – 24, meaning there could be more cancellations than those listed below. Passengers are encouraged to use TfL’s journey planner to manage potential disruption. Here’s what you need to know:
