Exol Lubricants has been named a Manufacturing Trailblazer for 2026 in the prestigious Wired x HSBC Trailblazer Awards, selected after a rigorous assessment of around 300 businesses across the UK.

The programme, led by Wired Consulting and HSBC, recognises companies driving innovation, redefining industry standards, and leading positive change. Exol caught judges’ attention following its 2025 King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, with further evaluation highlighting its commitment to sustainability, responsible manufacturing, and continuous investment in UK production.

With headquarters in Wednesbury and a blending facility in Rotherham, Exol manufactures lubricants for the automotive, commercial vehicle, agricultural, marine, and industrial markets. Building on over 40 years of manufacturing excellence, the business continues to scale global operations while advancing environmental efficiency.

Sales and marketing director Steve Dunn attended a Trailblazer networking event in Birmingham with WIRED and HSBC to discuss industry trends and business growth strategies.

Commenting on the award, Dunn said: “It’s a fantastic achievement to be named a Manufacturing Trailblazer for 2026. This recognition is a testament to the hard work of colleagues across Exol and our ongoing commitment to UK manufacturing, customer service, and environmental performance.”
