If you’re going out for a casual 26.2-mile jog around our city later this month (aka running the 2026 TCS London Marathon on April 26), you’ll be pleased to know that many businesses around London are gearing up to show their support. So, if you’re looking to celebrate your incredible achievement this weekend, why not do it for free? Here are some London Marathon freebies and offers to take advantage of this weekend. Just flash your finisher’s medal and relax…
Free travel – to the start line

Those running in the London Marathon have free travel on Southeastern train services
from London stations to the Start, as well as the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), Elizabeth Line, London Underground, Overground and buses. Importantly, you don’t need to tap in or out – just present your London Marathon bib!
Free travel is not for family or friends of those running, or for spectators of the London Marathon.
Free Sunday roast

How’s this for a blow-out way to celebrate? In the minds of the team behind the Kitty Hawk Rooftop & Restaurant, London Marathon runners deserve a proper celebration. That’s why they’re offering a complimentary Sunday roast for anyone showing their medal.

LAVO at the BoTree is also inviting marathoners to celebrate their feat with a complimentary Sunday roast. The British roast is reimagined with Italian flair, featuring the likes of “roasted beef striploin, corn-fed chicken, porchetta, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and panini semidolci, served alongside Italian classics”. How’s that for a post-race refuel?
Free beer

London craft brewery, Pretty Decent, is offering a free pint to anyone who runs the London Marathon this year. Show your medal at the bar at any of their three taprooms (Victoria Park, Forest Gate, or Walthamstow), and you’ll get a cold, crisp reward.
The brewery will also be serving £4 pints throughout the day across its venues. I gotta say – that’s a pretty decent deal. (Sorry, I had to.)
More free pints and drinks

Pretty Decent isn’t the only spot in London doling out free drinks to celebrate finishing the London Marathon. The following spots in London are also helping runners ‘cheers’ their monumental achievement:
TOZI Pizzeria & Cicchetti Bar, Battersea – free pint or glass of bubbles
The Brush East London Grand Café – free pint or glass of bubbles
Kaya Great Northern Hotel Bar – free glass of sparkling wine (limited to first 45)
The Lamb, Bloomsbury – free pint or small glass of house wine
Bow Street Tavern, Covent Garden – free pint of Jubel
Prince Arthur, Belgravia – free pint or glass of house bubbles
SPORT London venues – free pint
Castle Pubs across London – free pint of Camden Hells
Free cheesecake

La Maritxu is here to reward runners with an indulgent treat after the London Marathon. The Basque cheesecake brand is giving away 100 complimentary slices of its Classic Basque Cheesecake to the first 100 marathon runners who present their medal at the Kingly Court location. Run, don’t walk (or maybe just hobble a bit faster) to enjoy a well-earned reward.
Free steak

Latin-American-inspired restaurant Gaucho is inviting London Marathon runners to enjoy a free steak at any of their 11 London restaurants. Marathoners can choose from Sirloin, Ribeye, Rump, or Fillet. But there is a small caveat: they must be dining with at least one other person, who has to order a main meal, to redeem the free meat.
Runners will have from race day until April 29 to claim their complimentary steak. So you can head home and rest up before enjoying your free meal!
Free Chaat

Head to Cinnamon Bazaar Covent Garden or Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea, after the marathon, and you can refuel after the race with some complimentary chaat. Simply show your medal, and enjoy “traditional Indian street food bursting with sweet, tangy and spiced flavours”.
Free recovery smoothie

Need a boost of recovery after running 26.2 miles? That’s understandable! So make sure to head on over to Lanes of London, where runners can refuel with a free Recovery Boost Smoothie. The drink mixes “banana for sustained energy, antioxidant-rich berries, hydrating coconut water, orange juice and Greek yoghurt, finished with a touch of honey.”
Free shower products

Lush is here to help you unwind, recover, and rejuvenate, with some free shower products. Across their Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Victoria, and Paddington station stores, they’re “giving away the brand’s new Marathon-exclusive Ouchy magnesium massage balm and The Good Hour shower jelly —inspired by the Lush Spa treatment of the same name—to marathon runners.”
Simply head to a participating store on April 26, during opening hours, and show your London Marathon medal to redeem your free products. And then head on home and jump in the shower for some luxurious aftercare.
Free cookie and drink

Covent Garden’s Floozie Cookies is giving away a sweet treat and a matching drink to those who finish the London Marathon. Just half an hour away from the finish line, runners can show their medal and enjoy one of the brand’s famed chewy cookies with wild toppings. And a drink, of course.
Free Miso cookie
Not to be outdone, Café Mama and Sons in Kentish Town is also giving away a sweet treat to Marathon finishers. Show your medal at the counter, and you can enjoy one of their fan-favourite Miso Milk Chocolate Cookies for free!
Free burger
When you finish the London marathon, head on over to HBR in Eccleston Yards to celebrate with a hefty burger. And if you’re among the first 100 Marathon finishers to visit, you’ll get your burger for free! This includes fan favourites like The OG and Classy Chick.
