A man was seriously injured during an altercation at a Wetherspoons in Nuneaton. It happened yesterday evening (April 18).
Police were called to The Felix Holt on Stratford Street at approximately 11.45pm on Saturday. Officers discovered that a man in his 20s had suffered serious head injuries.
He remains in a serious condition today (April 19). No arrests had been made in connection with the incident at the time of writing.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. Information can be reported on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers.
Detective Inspector Oli Scarisbrick, from Warwickshire Police, said: “Witnesses have told us the altercation took place on the stairs inside the pub. A man in his 20s suffered a serious head injury and is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
“Our enquiries are ongoing as we work to identify and locate the person responsible. We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist with our investigation.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 458 of April 18. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
