A bakery chain founded in Suffolk has the recipe for success as one of its brownies was named the country’s best once again.
Two Magpies, which has outlets in Framlingham, has secured Britain’s Best Cake 2026.
Taking home the prize for its miso caramel hazelnut brownie, this marks the second time it has secured this award, having won the competition in 2024 for its salted caramel & almond brownie.

The bakery stood strong against 110 entries across eight categories at the ceremony, which took place at the NEC Birmingham as part of the UK Food and Drink Shows on April 13.
In addition to its top prize, it took home awards for the brownies & blondies, gluten free, mini and vegan categories.

Judges praised the winning entry for having a ‘really good depth to it’ while being made with ‘quality ingredients and a bake profile that was perfect’.
