Ant McPartlin made a quip at the drama that took place during the I’m A Celebrity… South Africa live final on Friday (April 24) as he opened the first Britain’s Got Talent live show. Ant and Dec returned to their hosting duties on Saturday (April 25) for the first semi-final of the ITV talent show.
It comes a day after the explosive I’m A Celeb final, which descended into chaos when Jimmy Bullard confronted winner Adam Thomas live on stage. Then, following the live show, Jimmy was allegedly seen confronting host Ant outside as security were forced to step in.
The drama came after Jimmy accused Adam of being ‘abusive, aggressive and intimidating’ during a trial, and alleged that ITV didn’t show the ‘true extent’ of Adam’s behaviour. Ant challenged these claims, saying that the show’s editing provided ‘an accurate representation of events’.

The live final of I’m A Celeb also saw David Haye call out Adam after bullying accusations and Gemma Collins and Sinitta also walked off the stage following the drama.
After an explosive night of live TV, the duo returned to host the first of Britain’s Got Talent’s live semi-finals, which sees this year’s standout acts battle for a place in the grand final.
Tonight’s semi finalists include Anastasiia and Salsa, Celtic Beat, Christy Coysh, Fraser Penman, Matty Juniosa. Nancy Tilley, Paul Nunnari and The Rafikiz.
After opening the BGT show, Ant told viewers “I just love live TV me,” as he then went on to tell the judges: “We had quite enough drama on the telly last night so can you four please be on your best behaviour.”
Mocking live TV, Dec also made a comment about I’m A Celeb’s Sinitta storming off after things got heated on Friday night, reports The Mirror.
Tonight’s show will see Amanda in charge of first Golden Buzzer of the live shows.
