UPDATE: Ged has been found, police confirmed.

Police have urgently asked the public to call 999 if they see this missing boy. Ged Knox, 11, was last seen leaving his home in Bromborough, Wirral, at around 11.30am on Saturday.

Merseyside Police said: “If you see Ged, please call 999 so we can make sure he is safe.”

Ged is described as white, slim, 4ft 8in tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He wears glasses.

When last seen, Ged was wearing a navy blue Montirex puffer coat, black shorts and black trainers.

He has links to New Brighton and Bromborough.

A spokesperson for the police added: “You can also pass on any sightings via our form: Add something to a missing person report | Merseyside Police or any other information to @MerPolCC or 101.”

A second child from Bromborough, Nancy Lawrence, is also still reported missing. Merseyside Police issued an appeal for the missing 13-year-old on Saturday. She was last seen leaving her home at 3.45pm. She has links to Liverpool city centre.
